Across 3. The black horse of the apocalypse, it carries weighing scales and it's mission os to bring hunger to the world. 7. Sometimes called a minor planet or planetoid. These travel the universe and are attracted to other space objects with gravity. Many of them are located in a "belt" between the smaller planets and large planets within our solar system. If one of these were to make impact upon the earth, it could cause dramatic changes that could result in the end of life. 8. This may occur when powerful nations decide to engage in a war that results in the use of nuclear weapons. 10. The green horse of the apocalypse, it's mission is to destroy 1/4th of t he earth with monsters, violence and death. 12. Usually in fiction, when the undead come alive and infect the living with an unstoppable infection that converts them into the undead as well. 13. An explosion on the surface of the sun, it releases massive amounts of energy. If one were to occur within our own sun, temperatures would rise and all life on earth would be destroyed by immense heat. 14. Results from the explosion of a dying star, this is much more destructive then a supernova. An explosion of this magnitude would destroy earth at a range of 300 light years away. The equivalent of one of these explosions would be 1 million hydrogen bombs going off simaltaneously.

Down 1. A deposit of gas frozen at the ice caps, if these ice caps were to melt releasing this gas it could change the earth's temperature dramatically. One of these incidents happened 55 million years ago and changed the earth's temperature by 13 degrees. 2. The development of any biological weapon that may spread and destroy anyone in it's path. 4. An unlikely event in which other life forms come to earth and decide to harvest our planet for supplies. 5. A gigantic wave that is large enough to cross oceans and level cities. These waves can travel at the speed of sound and are caused by asteroids crashing into the earth or massive landslides 6. The white horse of the apocalypse, many interpretations have identified the horse as either Jesus Christ or the Anti-Christ. It carries a bow and it's mission is to go forth conquering the earth. 9. A volcanic eruption which is substantially larger then other volcanic eruptions within history. The average size is approximately 1,000 cubic kilometers. Only a handful of these exist, an eruption could cause dramatic weather changes and even trigger a new ice age. 11. The red horse of the apocalypse, it carries a sword and it's mission is to take peace from the earth, allowing men to kill one another.
