The Outsiders

The Outsiders is about a gang named the Greaser and on the side are the Socs. Darry and Sopapop are Ponyboys big brothers. Darry is usually called Muscle Man by the gang. The only thing stopping Darry from being a Soc is the Greasers. The Greaser and the Socs usually get into a lot of fights but one fight goes way to far. Ponyboy(main character) and his best friend Johnny have to leave town and go hid from the fuzz. But when they are there they save a few lives from a burning church, where they are staying secretly. When Ponyboy and Johnny return after a couple of weeks they find out that there is going to be a Rumble between the Greasers and the Socs. But Johnny can't fight because something horrible happened to him. Read the book The Outsider to find out what happened to the whole Greaser Gang....
