Scripture Memory Review

Kortney

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Hebrews 13:17
Those who love their life in this world will lose it. Those who care nothing for their life in this world will keep it for eternity. Galatians 5:16
The Lord doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart. 1 Timothy 4:12
No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening—it’s painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way. John 4:7-8
So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. 2 And because you belong to him, the power[of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death. Psalm 119:9
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. Duet. 14:2
Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity. John 12:25
How can a young person stay pure? By obeying your word. 1 Corinthians 4:20
You have been set apart as holy to the Lord your God, and he has chosen you from all the nations of the earth to be his own special treasure. Romans 8:5
For the Kingdom of God is not just a lot of talk; it is living by God’s power. 1 Samuel 16:7
For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. Galatians 5:22-23
The heart of the prudent acquires knowledge, And the ear of the wise seeks knowledge. A man’s gift makes room for him, And brings him before great men. Rev. 12:11
Do not neglect the spiritual gift you received through the prophecy spoken over you when the elders of the church laid their hands on you. Proverbs 18:15-16
Obey your spiritual leaders, and do what they say. Their work is to watch over your souls, and they are accountable to God. Give them reason to do this with joy and not with sorrow. That would certainly not be for your benefit. Galations 2:20
Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. 8 But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. Ephesians 6:12-13
So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves. Hebrews 12:11
But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! 1 Timothy 4:14
Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. Romans 8:1-2
