Circle Theorems

Grace Molter

Matching game for some of our circle theorems ;)

Perpendicular Chord Bisector Theorem If a diameter of a circle is perpendicular to a chord, then the diameter bisects the chord and its arc.
Perpendicular Chord Bisector Converse If one chord of a circle is a perpendicular bisector of another chord, then the first chord is a diameter.
Equidistant Chords Theorem If a tangent and a chord intersect at a point on a circle, then the measure of each angle formed is one-half the measure of its intercepted arc.
Tangent and Intersected Chord Theorem In the same circle, or in congruent circles, two chords are congruent if and only if they are equidistant from the center.

Use the "Printable HTML" button to get a clean page, in either HTML or PDF, that you can use your browser's print button to print. This page won't have buttons or ads, just your puzzle. The PDF format allows the web site to know how large a printer page is, and the fonts are scaled to fill the page. The PDF takes awhile to generate. Don't panic!
