Varieties of food and regular excercise is important to keep the body healthy. If you eat too much of a particular type of food this could lead to problems in later life. If not enough food is eaten this can cause the disease 'rickets' or 'kwasiorkor'. Wheras eating too much can cause diabetes, arthritis, high blood pressure or heart disease. Eating too much fat can cause the fat to build up in place, after a while the fat could completely block the artery which stops blood reaching parts of the body. This results in a heart attack.
Cholestrol: Cholestrol is a substance that is found in the blood, however it is important that you get the right amounts of it. There is good cholestrol, this includes thing such as olive oil, known as HDL's (high density lipoproteins). This is unstaurated fat. There is also bad cholestrol which is satured fat and includes thing like animal meat and butter (HDL's). Eating bad chlestrol can lead to heart disease, but by eating good cholestrol can help prevent this from happening.
