Jesus Performs Miracles on the Sabbath

The Pharisees accused Jesus of working on the Sabbath and breaking the Law. Another time Jesus healed a man who had a shriveled hand on the Sabbath. A large crowd followed Jesus. People with evil spirits saw Jesus and said, "You are the Son of God." Jesus told the evil spirits to be quiet. Jesus called twelve men up on a mountainside and chose them to be His Apostles. They were to be with Him and were also to preach to others and heal and drive out demons. Story is found in Mark 2 - 3:19.
