God Gives Moses Laws
God came down upon Mount sinai in a cloud with thunder, lightning and covered with smoke. The Israelites heard a loud trumpet blast. Moses and Aaron went up Mount Sinai to listen to God. The Lord gave Moses Ten Commandments that the Israelites were to obey plus many more. The Ten Commandments were:
1. "You shall have no other gods before me. 2. You shall not make for yourself an idol. 3. You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God. 4. Remember the Sabbath day, by keeping it holy. 5. Honor your father and your mother. 6. You shall not murder. 7. You shall not commit adultery. 8. You shall not steal. 9. You shall not give false testimony. 10. You shall not covet.
These commandments were for the Israelites. The New Testament is our guide today. We are not under the Old Testament (covenant). Jesus taught us to follow most these same rules except for keeping the Sabbath. The Law of Moses contained many other laws that we don't keep today, such as animal sacrifices, because Jesus became the sacrifice for us today. The New Testament teaches us to put God first and worship Him only, and love our neighbor as ourselves. Story found in Exodus 20.
Some of the puzzles that people list for the public
get indexed by the search engines
Some people find those puzzles and cannot figure out how to make a puzzle
of their own. So this page now has the navigation sidebar.
There are now buttons on the puzzle so that you can get a clean page,
in either HTML or PDF, that you can use your browser's print button
to print. The PDF format allows the web site to know how large a
printer page is, and the fonts are scaled to fill the page.
The PDF takes awhile to generate. Don't panic!
