Abram Travels to Canaan

Kay Perez

God told Abram to get out of his country, leave his family and father's house and go to a land He would show him.  He told him he would bless him and make him a great nation.  Abram believed in God, so Abram left the city of Haran and God led him to the land of Canaan.  He took his wife, Sarai, and his brother's son Lot, and his servants and all his possessions.  He set up an altar in the land of Canaan.  There was a famine in the land, so Abram traveled south to Egypt.  Abram's wife was beautiful, so Abram told Sarai to tell the Egyptians that she was his sister because he was scared.  The Pharaoh of Egypt treated Abram well because of Sarai. The Pharaoh became sick because of Abram's lie.  When the Pharaoh found out what Abram had done, he sent him away.  Story found in Genesis 12:1-20

Some of the puzzles that people list for the public get indexed by the search engines (like Google). Some people find those puzzles and cannot figure out how to make a puzzle of their own. So this page now has the navigation sidebar.

There are now buttons on the puzzle so that you can get a clean page, in either HTML or PDF, that you can use your browser's print button to print. The PDF format allows the web site to know how large a printer page is, and the fonts are scaled to fill the page. The PDF takes awhile to generate. Don't panic!
