Birth of Isaac

Kay Perez

When  Abraham was  one hundred  years  old and Sarah was ninety, Sarah gave birth to a son.  God had kept His promise.  Abraham named him Isaac, meaning laughter. That because Sarah laughed when she  heard that she was going to have  a son in her old age?  As Isaac got older, Hagar and Ishmael began making fun of Isaac.  This made Sarah really mad.  So Sarah told Abraham to send them both away.  So Abraham  sent them far away into the wilderness.  They only had a little food and water.  The water ran out, and Hagar thought that Ishmael would die.  So Hagar laid Ishmael  under a bush and went a little ways away from him so she wouldn't  have to hear him crying. An angel from God called to her and said, “Don't be afraid.  God has heard the boy crying and will save him and make a mighty nation from him.”   So the dry ground became filled with water and they were saved.  Hagar and Ishmael lived in the wilderness and Ishmael became an archer.  It is NOT good to make fun of your  little brother or sister. Not even to get them in  trouble. Story found in Genesis 21-22.

Some of the puzzles that people list for the public get indexed by the search engines (like Google). Some people find those puzzles and cannot figure out how to make a puzzle of their own. So this page now has the navigation sidebar.

There are now buttons on the puzzle so that you can get a clean page, in either HTML or PDF, that you can use your browser's print button to print. The PDF format allows the web site to know how large a printer page is, and the fonts are scaled to fill the page. The PDF takes awhile to generate. Don't panic!
