Nucleus The organelle found inside the nucleus and where the ribosomes are formed.
Mitochondrion The outer layer of the cell that protects the cell and allows things to move in and out of the cell.
Ribosomes The organelle that removes harmful waste from the cell and can also be used for storage.
Nucleolus The organelle that is responsible for making the proteins in the cell.
Endoplasmic Reticulum The organelle that packages proteins and distributes them to other parts of the cell.
Vacuole The organelle that produces the energy for the cell to carry out its activities.
Lysosomes The organelle that packages and sorts materials inside the cell.
Golgi Body The largest organelle in the cell where the genetic material (DNA) can be found and it is also the control center for the cell.
