Blood pressure The pressure in the arteries when the heart contracts
Body temperature The amount of force exerted against the walls of an artery by the blood
Diastolic pressure The number of heartbeats or pulses felt in one minute
Fever The amount of heat in the body that is balance between the amount of heat produced and the amount of heat lost by the body
Hypertension When the systolic blood pressure is below 90 mm Hg and the diastolic pressure is below 60 mm Hg
Hypotension The amount of fluid lost
Intake Blood pressure measurements that remain above a systolic pressure of 140 mm Hg or a diastolic pressure above 90 mm Hg
Output Temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure
Pulse The beat of the heart felt at an artery as a wave of blood passes through an artery
Pulse rate The pressure in the arteries when the heart is at rest
Respiration Breathing air into and out of the lungs
Systolic pressure The amount of fluid taken in
Vital signs Elevated body temperature
