Match the following terminologies to the correct definition. Write the number on the space provided to represent the correct terminology.

Saturated _____A solution that contains less dissolved solute for a given temperature and pressure than a saturated solution
Unsaturated _____Is an equilibrium constant that describes how much of a sparingly soluble salt can dissolve in water, expressed as the product of the concentrations of its ions at saturation.
Solubility _____ Is a graph that shows how the solubility of a substance changes with temperature.
Solubility curve _____It is represented as "Q" is a measure of the relative amounts of reactants and products present in a chemical reaction at any given point in time, not necessarily at equilibrium.
electrolyte _____Is a substance that produces ions when dissolved in water (or melted), allowing the solution to conduct electricity.
cathode _____Is the negative electrode in the electrolytic cell.
anode _____Is the positive electrode in the electrolytic cell.
solubility product _____A solution that contains the maximum amount of dissolved solute for a given amount of solvent at a specific temperature and pressure
reaction quotient _____ Refers to the maximum amount of solute that will dissolve in a given amount of solvent at a specified temperature and pressure

Use the "Printable HTML" button to get a clean page, in either HTML or PDF, that you can use your browser's print button to print. This page won't have buttons or ads, just your puzzle. The PDF format allows the web site to know how large a printer page is, and the fonts are scaled to fill the page. The PDF takes awhile to generate. Don't panic!
