Elimelech and Naomi lived in Canaan. They moved to Moab because of a famine. They had 2  sons. One son married Ruth and the other married Orpah. Naomi's husband and her 2 sons died. Naomi wanted to go back to Bethlehem. Ruth wanted to go with her. Ruth is a love story about how she met Boaz and married him. They had a son named Obed. David was the great grandson of Ruth and Boaz. Jesus was born into the family of David. Story found in Book of Ruth.
