Temple and the Church

Kay Perez

The church is designed after the tabernacle and the temple. The tabernacle was a tent and the temple was a permanent building. The Temple had two rooms, the Holy Place and Holy of Holies. A curtain separated the rooms. In the Holy of Holies was the Ark which represented the throne of God.  Only the High Priest could enter.  Jesus is our High Priest today. The priests only could enter the Holy Place. The Holy place had 3 pieces of furniture, the Table of shewbread, a lampstand, and an altar of incense.  The table of shewbread represents the Lord's supper. The lampstand represents the Bible, and the altar of incense represents our prayers.  The courtyard represent the world.  Outside was an altar of burnt offerings representing Christ's death, and the brazen altar or wash basin represents baptism.

Some of the puzzles that people list for the public get indexed by the search engines (like Google). Some people find those puzzles and cannot figure out how to make a puzzle of their own. So this page now has the navigation sidebar.

There are now buttons on the puzzle so that you can get a clean page, in either HTML or PDF, that you can use your browser's print button to print. The PDF format allows the web site to know how large a printer page is, and the fonts are scaled to fill the page. The PDF takes awhile to generate. Don't panic!
