Jesus was teaching a crowd around Galilee. He told them they were the salt of the earth and the light of the world. He was trying to tell them that they should not lose their saltiness or hide their light and to let their light shine before others that they may see their good deeds and glorify the Father in Heaven. Story found in Matthew 5:13-16
