I received a note on June 7th that says:

Re: Unauthorized use of "JUMBLE" Trademark

I am writing as vice president of Licensing for Tribune Media Services, Inc.
("TMS"). We object to the presence of the "Jumble" word puzzles on your
website, http://www.armoredpenguin.com/jumble/.

TMS' exclusive rights to the JUMBLE mark are well established. TMS first
began using the JUMBLE trademark in 1954 and today owns ten JUMBLE
trademark registrations in the United States, including three for
interactive word puzzles. Your use of the word "Jumble" in connection
with an online word puzzle constitutes trademark infringement, trademark
dilution and unfair competition.

TMS regards its intellectual property, including the JUMBLE mark as among
its most valuable assets, and will not hesitate to protect its rights.

Nevertheless, we trust that this matter can be resolved swiftly, amicably
and without the need for formal proceedings. If you agree with this
approach, please contact me by June 15, 2007 to confirm that you will
immediately remove all use of the JUMBLE mark, and any confusingly similar
mark, from your website and archives.

Sincerely,

Stephen Tippie

Accordingly, I have removed this program. The program has been renamed to http://www.armoredpenguin.com/wordscramble/. I have no interest in infringing trademarks.

Please bear with me during the transition to a new name.
